Five things everyone should know about the future of technology

Ahh my first post how exciting! We’ve reached an important milestone 🙂 This blog is for anyone and everyone who is curious about the wonders of technology and the increasingly active role it plays in our lives. I’ll be covering the latest developments in Artificial Intelligence to biotechnology and ES6. Happy reading!

1. Technology is not necessarily change – Automatic driving, domestic robots there is always talk on how technology will change our society. However, change holds positive and negative implications. From simplifying mundane office tasks to remote working, the real objective of technology is to make our lives easier!

2. 5G is already here!

Last year, EE launched the UK’s first next-generation 5G network with faster internet speeds and lower latency rate.

3. Artificial Intelligence is an end product

I’ll probably be speaking more extensively on this topic on a separate post however people often confuse what AI actually is and the difference between Machine Learning. For now, AI is the ability of machines to make human-like decisions.

4. Healthcare is where efforts should be most focused

A lack of existing resources and a growing population. It comes as no surprise that research efforts are focused on improving the quality of healthcare with transplants and surgeries. This is a really important area which I’ll be focusing on!

5. Data protection

With so much of our data online nowadays, ensuring that it protected requires a great deal of time and money! From hackers to data leaks, the online world carries just as many risks as the physical.
